SpawnPoints

The SpawnPoints define points in a scene where products can be inserted.

Creating a SpawnPoint

Using the "Create" button within the CRUD component, a new SpawnPoint can be created here. With the "Inline-Icons", an existing SpawnPoint can be edited or viewed.

  • Code (mandatory): The technical name of the SpawnPoint, can be freely chosen, but should adhere to the general nomenclature and must be unique within the SpawnPoints.

  • Descriptions (optional): Description of the scene in "n" languages.

    • de_de = Base Scene
    • en_en = Base Scene
    • ...
  • Position (optional): Define the position of the SpawnPoint in spatial coordinates.

    • e.g., X = 0 / Y = 0 / Z = 0
  • Rotation (optional): Define the rotation of the SpawnPoint in spatial coordinates.

    • e.g., X = 0 / Y = 0 / Z = 0

SpawnPoint-Information Tab (Create)

This opens the entry for a new SpawnPoint.

  • "Code" is a mandatory feature.
  • The "Description" can be captured in multiple languages if necessary.
  • Define position.
  • Define rotation.
  • Save the new scene.
  • Save the description.

Once the SpawnPoint is saved, the additional tabs of the SpawnPoints can be selected.

SpawnPoint-Information Tab (Edit-/View-Mode)

This opens the view/edit mode in the Info tab.

  • Here, the basic information of the SpawnPoint can be viewed/modified.
  • Save.

CameraSettings-Tab

Here, camera settings can be provided to a SpawnPoint.

  • Code (mandatory): Technical name of the CameraSettings. This can be freely chosen but should adhere to the general nomenclature and must be unique within the CameraSettings.
  • Distance (optional): Camera distance from the SpawnPoint at scene initialization.
  • Minimum Distance (optional): Minimum camera distance from the SpawnPoint.
  • Maximum Distance (optional): Maximum camera distance from the SpawnPoint.
  • Minimum Y Rotation (optional): Minimum camera rotation in the Y-axis to the SpawnPoint. (This is the angle by which the camera may move below the SpawnPoint.)
    • e.g., 90°
  • Maximum Y Rotation (optional): Maximum camera rotation in the Y-axis to the SpawnPoint. (This is the angle by which the camera may move above the SpawnPoint.)
    • e.g., 90°
  • IsFlareActive (optional): Here, it can be defined whether the "LightFlares" of a light source should be visible or not.
  • Descriptions (optional): Description of the characteristic in "n" languages.
    • de_de = Base Scene
    • en_en = Base Scene
    • ...
  • LookAtOffset? (optional): Offset of the camera look-at point relative to the SpawnPoint if the camera's rotation center is not around the SpawnPoint but around the center of the 3D object.
    • e.g., X = 0 / Y = 0.5 / Z = 0

Multiple CameraSettings can be assigned to a SpawnPoint.

CameraSettings-Tab (Create)

This opens the entry for new CameraSettings.

  • "Code" is a mandatory feature.
  • Define the "min. Distance".
  • Define the "max. Distance".
  • Define the "min. Y Rotation".
  • Define the "max. Y Rotation".
  • Select the "IsFlareActive".
  • The "Description" can be captured in multiple languages if necessary.
  • Define the "LookAtOffset?".
  • Save → Create the new CameraSettings.
  • Save → Save the changes.

This opens the view/edit mode in the Info tab.

  • Here, the basic information of the CameraSettings can be viewed/modified.
