Scenes
A scene serves as a container for a configuration, allowing a scene to be used for the display and presentation of individual or various products.
For this purpose, different scenes can be defined.
-
An empty scene, with white or colored background or with an artificial horizon → Advantage: Focus on the product e.g. Jovie, E-Line in individual configuration
-
A scene with a "base surface" on which the object to be configured is located, which is color-coordinated with the background or visually stands out from it. There is also the possibility here to use shaders for the representation of the surface, for example, to represent a flower meadow or a water surface. → Advantage: possible shadow casting on the surface, lively environment to present the product/visualization more vividly e.g. Concrete mixer on a white surface, Seabob on the water
-
A scene with a complex room situation. → Advantage: to present the product/configuration contextually, sales-promoting e.g. Room doors, Jovie in a street scene, lighting in room situation
Creating a Scene
With the "Create" button within the CRUD component, a new Characteristic can be created here. With the "Inline-Icons," an existing Characteristic can be edited or viewed.
-
Code (mandatory) → the technical name of the Scene, can be freely chosen but should correspond to the general nomenclature and must be unique within the Scene.
-
Descriptions (optional) → Description of the Scene, in "n" languages
- de_de = Base Scene
- en_en = Base Scene
- ...
Scene-Information Tab (Create)
The capture for a new Scene opens here.
- "Code" is a mandatory feature.
- The "Description" can be captured in multiple languages if necessary.
- Save → Create the new Scene
- Save → Save the changes
Once a Characteristic has been saved, the further tabs of the Characteristic can be selected.
Scene-Information Tab (Edit-/View-Mode)
The View/Edit mode opens in the Info tab.
- Here, the basic information of the Scene can be viewed/modified.
- Save
Scene-SceneConfiguration Tab
Here, the Scene (3D customizing) defined in the backend (Unity) is assigned and the central insertion point for the 3D objects is defined.
Creating a SceneConfiguration
With the "Create" button within the CRUD component, a new Characteristic can be created here. With the "Inline-Icons," an existing Characteristic can be edited or viewed.
- Code (mandatory) → Technical name of the SceneConfiguration. This can be freely chosen but should correspond to the general nomenclature and must be unique within the SceneConfiguration.
- SceneName (mandatory) → Technical name of the Scene. This must be identical to the Scene name in the backend (Unity) if they are to interact with each other. Nomenclature should be observed when creating the Scene in the backend. → e.g. "BaseScene"
- SpawnPoint (mandatory) → A SpawnPoint must be selected here, which is defined in advance under (SpawnPoint)[../spawnpoints] The SpawnPoint is the spatial coordinate/orientation that the 3D object to be placed will have in this Scene. → e.g. "Center"
- Descriptions (optional)
→ Description of the Characteristic, in "n" languages
- de_de = Base Scene
- en_en = Base Scene
- ...
